With the help of a stand-up comedian and a teacher, Ellen Schagerström, a researcher at the Department of Biology and Environmental Sciences at the University of Gothenburg, will produce a 15–20-minute performance to be staged at the amateur stand-up club Big Ben in Stockholm. The performance aims to raise awareness and stimulate thought on three themes: eutrophication, invasive species and seafood.
Stand up for the Baltic Sea! is being carried out by the University of Gothenburg. Through BalticWaters’ program for research projects and pre-studies, the project has been awarded a grant of SEK 189,659.
