What we do

BalticWaters is a foundation with a single goal: to keep our sea alive. And for us there is only one way to get there: action, based on science and facts! We advocate, conduct projects and support research with one goal in mind: a healthy sea full of life, for us and future generations.

Projects

To show that change is possible

BalticWaters conducts large-scale environmental projects to demonstrate that change is possible and how it can be achieved. The projects are funded by donations from private individuals, organisations, public authorities and universities, and are carried out independently and in collaboration with universities, organisations and institutions. The foundation carries out research and information projects in collaboration with external partners and researchers from various universities. The projects are primarily aimed at investigating areas where there is currently a lack of knowledge.
